No. O ended up being much better hire than most predicted but it was time for him to move on. He was an extremely unpopular athletic director towards the end and wasn't a good fit for the position.

No, he got fired because of nearly single-handedly ruining the best season in LSU basketball in over a decade and not standing up for the name LSU against media who was tearing us apart. He made a good hire in O, but as a man he is a piece of shite.
