LSU's defense in last 3 games against Quality Competition has given up: 74, 32, 38 points .
This team has a lot of veteran players there is no excuse. A lot of those players looked lost last night and lacked any motivation. Highest paid Def Cord. that doesn't make adjustments is not good. Trying to outscore the likes of alabama, UGA etc.. will be tough

Looked more like a conditioning issue to me. Last I checked, we only gave up 7 1st half points. Then the 3 & out followed by an extremely long drive by the Horns. Only after that did this game become a shootout.

I agree. For all the hype he gets about how brilliant he is it doesn’t really show on the field when LSU plays teams that match LSU physically.
Even Arkansas game last year the pass defense looked lost in the 4th quarter.
It seems team’s figure him out by half then he doesn’t adjust.
Oh well LSU got the win I’m happy.

What about the two goal line stands in the first half?

So you are happy with the defense tonight?

Do you really think our players are in poor shape?
Ehlinger had a clean pocket and receivers came open.
Aranda never adjusted and Herman whipped him.

Was shocked at that lack of effort from some of the veteran players and the lack of in game adjustments. The dline was getting no pressure and Aranda hardly ever called a blitz giving texas QB plenty of time to pick LSU secondary apart.

Luckily they dropped the pass on one of those but overall we have too many good players to get abused like that on defense.

Shut. The. Fuk. Up.
This board is miserable.

No elite players on D . Very average. We will have to win with Joe.

STFU, our defensive issues are on the dline, coach o's specialty...

Dave looked like coach Klein against coach Beaulieu in Waterboy. Tom Herman must have stolen his playbook, b/c Dave was coaching not to lose. Joe Cool bailed him out.

The defensive players are household names in Louisiana. Not many years you can say that. Leadership is a good ol' boys club however. O's buddies from here, there, and yonder. And Aranda of course. Need to break that shite up....
