The number of top 10 teams we beat or the fact we passed for 16 TD’s in 3 post season games with teams ranked in the top 4?

top 10 teams. Somewhere along the way teams will inexplicably lay an egg. This team was on fire week in and week out, they could've played 15 top 10 teams and it wouldn't have mattered, but impressive nevertheless.

Not a single stat but this will never be topped.

LSU beats UGA, UF, Clemson, Alabama, and Oklahoma by an average of 19.6 points.

Outside of LSU, those teams go for a combined 60-4.

Final rankings:
-Clemson - 3
- OKlahoma - 4
- Georgia - 5
- Florida - 9
-Alabama - 13

Might as well throw Auburn in there.

I don't remember but I think between Auburn, LSU,Alabama,Georgia, and Florida all of their losses were to eachother.

Indeed. Auburn was left out by mistake. The score will bring down the average margin of victory but it brings the combined records to 69-8 and they finished the season 12. Just shows that if you put any top tier sec team in another conference, they wreck.

LSU scored 14 points in 26 seconds to take a 33-13 lead into the locker room in Tuscaloosa.

Ponder this, in 2015 LSU finished 9-3 and passed for 13 TD’s / 6 INT’s in 12 games. I pray that we never have to witness that abysmal offensive play calling again

If Auburn doesn’t lay an egg in the bowl game it’s even more mind boggling.

The butt fricking of three top 4 teams.

UGA is lucky we showed mercy and so is Clemson and we could have scored 84 on the sooners if we wanted

My favorite. In LSU history, there had been eight games ever an LSU QB threw four TD passes in one game (Zach Metternberger was the only one ever with five). Joe averaged 4.0 TD passes per game through all 15.

The number of different metrics that you could use to judge this team are ridiculous. And almost every one will lead you to the same conclusion. Greatest team of all time
