Stingley is 7 and 18 is Brennan and Andre Anthony or Neil Farrell.

The problem I have with 18 is that it doesn’t need to be given to an offensive and defensive player. If they want to do that, give out captains patches. The problem now is that Damone Clark is still 18 and may not even see the field. It’s ok to give it to one player who is your alpha leader, which would have been Stevens last year.
The number 7 “tradition” needs to end. Pat was issued it, Tyrann wore it to honor Pat, it sat until LF7 wore it to honor the 7th ward. It should just be a number issued to a LB, DB. If Ponamsky continues to push to award it, you’ll always end up with a Giles level player every 2-3 years. Just put it back in rotation to issued numbers.

#7 is kind of a thing but not really an established thing. Whoever gets it gets it.
#18 is a thing, and it should be selected by the previous honorees. I would like to see any of the returning guys who could have gone pro but wanted to come back and leave a better legacy than this past season get it. One single player, though. I don't like the split award with an offense and defense #18.

Deculus and Ingraham get 18. No one gets 7 except maybe the kicker and Stingley.
