There is no excuse for you to turn this thread in that direction.

How Alex Box behaved while a student at LSU who knows (and I have serious doubts that you do) but all indications are that he was a man of worth and honor.

So why not commemorate his ultimate sacrifice on Memorial Day and keep your sordid thoughts in your sordid mind?

are you this big of a prudish, humorless dork in real life ? or do you just play one on the internet .. the man got some arse in college .. like most of us did .. how is it disrespectful to discuss the man getting laid in college ? grrrrrrrrrrrrr..

I've been waiting until the football countdown thread reaches 20 to post this, but I'll go ahead and post it now.

A generation before Billy Cannon, Alex Box wore # 20 for LSU

This thread is about remembering one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our republic (not about your unfounded claims of his exploits on campus). Try and focus on that and stop superimposing your lack of character onto his demonstrated excellence of character.

Memorial Day was commemorated on 5/30 until 1971. Congress changed the date to the last Monday in May to give us a three-day weekend. As such (and oh the irony), most have forgotten the very significance of Memorial Day (as evidenced by your misguided speculation). There is an effort underway to restore it to its original date.

oh well, this is 2012 and not 1971, so Memorial Day was Monday, May 28th in case you missed it ..

how is the speculation that young mr. box got around with the ladies in college tarnishing his image ? he's a good looking fella that was popular on campus ..

once again, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ..

FTR, some still commemorate Memorial Day on 5/30 to avoid the pitfall of forgetting its significance.

But this thread isn't about me, you, what date Memorial Day will be commemorated on, or about your speculations on Alex Box in college. It's about remembering his well-documented sacrifice in WWII.

Post something commensurate with that! You're a Tiger fan, you can do this.
