Considering everything that went down this past week I'm not surprised in the result, we have Les for one more year at least. However you feel about it, it is what it is. But, this coming year is make or break for Les and everyone knows it.

The silver lining is that this time next year LSU nation won't be nearly as polarized. One of two things will happen:

-Repeat performance, 8-4/9-3 kind of year, prob lose to Bama. Even more people are annoyed, fed up, etc. His buy out is even lower. He squandered the best player in a decade, blah blah blah. HE GONE. Only this time, virtually everybody is on the same page and we move forward together with confidence/support for the new guy and his direction. That and the new coach will have a very talented team to work with. Say what you will about Les but the man can recruit.

-He wins 11 games/the sec/makes playoff run. Which is what everyone really wants anyway.

I hate that this is where we are but I do think its option A or option B this time a year from now. Either way its how we move forward from here.......

He's done after next year, especially if Steele, Peveto, and Cameron remain in their current roles.

Maybe we can use the entire year to line up his replacement though, so that's a silver lining.

Nope,
President won't allow a buyout. Les not going anywhere till the buyout clause is removed or significantly lowered.

Lsu lost $4 million by not going to the NC game this year. Get your 2016 Gator Bowl tickets early.
