Coach O gets another year and TAF get's to save some money.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but this is exactly what the administration and TAF was hoping for.

ETA: Forgot to add that this gives TAF a whole year to set this idiot up to do something stupid that will allow him to be dismissed...FOR CAUSE.

I doubt it. With the league expanding, we need a competent coach leading the program. We can't afford to keep spiraling downward with O. Whatever we pay O will be worth it long term assuming we make a home run hire.

Well…. Imagine coaching in the SECW with 18% of your roster unavailable….

Or 7-8 of your top 22 defensive players

And 2-4 of your top offensive players are out

Look at the depth chart. We’ve got 13-14 unavailable players… really good ones too

Which team that we've played so far has had more talent on the field even after injuries?

Every team deals with injuries. It’s why to have a roster of 85 and not just 22.

We are a .500 team, and 3 of those injuries just happened in our last game

I mean, to be fair, there were like 15 guys out for ucla too. O sucks and will be fired this season. But I’ve also never seen so many injuries in all my life. Significant season ending injuries. Small, Stingley, Ricks, Anthony, Gaye, and Brennan. That is absolutely absurd. I thought 2012 was bad, but someone needs to be fired for this as well. Probably Moffitt.

In addition to the injuries, the losses of rosenthal and emery were also back breakers. Say what you will but those were out of Os control. Regardless, changes is necessary at this point

What do injuries have to do with poor game planning, lack of preparation, inability to call plays timely, refusing to run against 3 man fronts, senior starters getting blown off line of scrimmage, starting linbackers that can’t tackle or cover...?
