Pretty good read about our DC. Also mentions he wants to be a Power 5 Head Coach again.

Of course he does. There’s a huge thread on Nebraska’s 247 page about Bo......They sure miss those 9 win teams.....

I think we have Bo for 2 years max.

“In those seven seasons, the Cornhuskers were 66–27, had zero losing seasons and never finished worse than third in their division. In five seasons since Pelini’s firing, the Cornhuskers are 28–34, have had four losing seasons and never have finished better than third in their division.”

Great Article !

He said to Nebraska fans “We’ll see what can do when I’m fkn gone”

What a comment! I’m with him! Screw fans that leave games early!

He is a Rock Star now !!!

How many years is that $2+ mil contract?

Edit add:

A source said Pelini agreed to a three-year contract worth $2.3 million per year, a figure just under the $2.5 million LSU was paying his predecessor, Dave Aranda, who left Baton Rouge to be the head coach at Baylor.

He’ll do the full three years

Sounds like he’s taking interviews already. If we have another big year, he may have a new gig before the season ends.

I’m rooting for Bo. I think it is a shame he hasn’t even been mentioned for a lot of jobs. The article did a good job on reflecting a different side of Bo and I think somebody is gonna take a chance on him in the next 2 years. It’s gotta be the right situation for him to shine, give him space and show willingness to use his fire as motivation and you’ll see results

Agreed. I think he’s a step up from Aranda on the field. Bo’s schemes will be more direct and his philosophy more aggressive. “The Professor” seemed overly analytical and passive. You’ve got to let the ponies run!!!

Very glad to have Bo back.

The 2005-2007 defenses were some of the best LSU has ever had.

I cheered for Bo at Nebraska and glad to have him back. The AD, administration, and fanbase are as out if touch with Nebraska’s football identity is in 21st century as much as Ole Miss is.

Between it’s small town atmosphere and Big10 affiliation (still too cold to be a destination location, no TX-OK pipelines due to Big 12 departure) you won’t see ‘95 Huskers for quite sometime, if ever.

Basically he was set up to fail because he doesn’t have Tom Osborne’s demeanor

I'm freaking stoked to see the defense this year but I keep waking up screaming after nightmares about Darren McFadden in 2007 lol
