Shouldn't CFP rankings be used instead of AP/Coach's

If we base the playoffs off of the CFP rankings, shouldn't all media and everyone else use those rankings rather than the AP/Coach's after week 9 once they're released? I know lots of media counts it like that, but it seems that not all of it does.

Maybe I'm just biased and I'd prefer LSU being #7 the last three weeks rather than the AP/Coach's rankings.

Another reason that I'm putting this out there is that I think playing Texas A&M this weekend should count as another ranked opponent. The AP/Coach's polls don't give them any credit, but they're ranked 22nd in the CFP, the poll that actually matters.

Ending up having played 8 ranked opponents at the end of the year and finishing with potentially 11 wins would have to be one of the strongest resumes in the nation.

Once the CFP comes out I stop looking at other rankings.

I honestly thought the networks just show whichever ranking paints their game in the best light.
