I was at the Tennessee game last year and it was packed but it cannot sustain that level of attendance. Crowds only show up for marquee matchups when LSU is also good.

What ya think?

The new stadium should have a smaller capacity, yes.

Pathetic attendance. Support for this team should be better.

No. When I was a student in the early 80's we used to pack the place every night and we used to squeeze 15,000 back then. I don't see why we have to give up on that. Keep winning and they will come. Think big.

Turn one end of baseline upper level seats into suites. Turn the other end of baseline upper level seats into some sort of family section. This would put capacity at about 10,000, which is about right for LSU.

I wish we would get something closer to a gym. It hate basketball games where the crowd is so far removed from the court. I would rather a jam pack gym with 6K fans, than a spread out open air arena with 10k+.

I love UHs new place.

The PMAC capacity has been decreased twice, from 14,410 to 13,200+ now. Please do not reduce it any more. BUILD A NEW ARENA at about 13,000 capacity.

LSU can support the pmac. Lol, all you have to do is show you can sustain success and LSU fans will show up. It's still football season and alot of fans spent shitloads of money on the championship game and playoff game. Chill out. It was a Wednesday night game just a few day before our football team is playing for a natty. If they want to fill it consistently, win consistently. Do you know the history of our baseball program and how skip Bertman built it, what I was before he got here and even in his early years? Then the fans showed up in droves for baseball and still do? Same will happen with basketball, just win and compete like they are for sec titles consistently and the fans will be there. I promise.

We aren't Kentucky and never will be. Kentucky has absolutely nothing but basketball. Our fanbase is much larger than Kentucky however, we just spend more money on football, bc we are really good at it. If basketball keeps winning, season ticket sales will increase and random asses in the arena will increase. If you build it, they will come, lol.

It’s exasperating to hear this same stuff about basketball every. Single. Year. There are two solutions to this. I’ve been hearing this for over 30 years. Here they are:

1. Support the team and always have their back regardless of football season or not. Doesn’t matter if the football team is undefeated or hasn’t won a game. Compartmentalize and support basketball AND football.

2. Simply surrender and acknowledge that Baton Rouge and LSU are forever a football school and just come to the harsh realization that football has been and always will be king in Louisiana, especially Baton Rouge.
