Should Coach O go after Shea Patterson?

The kid is from LA and was committed to us for awhile. Now with all the craziness at Ole Piss, maybe Coach O gives him a life line?

Doesn't have the chest.

Your initials wouldn't happen to be KCD would they?

He was never committed here if I remember correctly. We hired his brother his JR year of HS but he never committed. (We had Franks committed). Don't wanna deal with his family's crap. Let him stay at that dumpster fire

Uh, he's not from Louisiana, and may be ruled ineligible for any college football if he took $$ or special benefits. He was one of the Tampa recruits, where the Hoojers were hired during his recruitment.....

No. His family acted like arse hats trying to strong arm the program into a job for his older brother that he didn't earn or deserve. When they were told it wasn't going to happen, the brother tried to steal film from LSU on his way out.
That bridge has been burned. The Patterson's can rot in Oxford. This is what they deserve.

So we should be going after an on-scholarship player at a school that is dodging serious recruiting irregularities that could possibility be facing the death penalty.
What could go wrong for LSU doing that ?

It wouldn't hurt; I don't know if he's better than Scott/Brennan/Narcisse though.

Why? Shea does nothing for us. He would have to sit out a year. We have Myles and Lowell nipping at the bud for the starting job after this year. I'll take Myles or Lowell over Shea.

No, not only is that blatant cheating, but Patterson is staying at Ole Miss, unless he loses his job or the new coach installs the wishbone.

I don't think Shea would take the pay cut to come to LSU.

Personally I wouldn't touch any current Ole Miss player right now....I'm not sure we know how deep that shite hole goes yet.

Lol at those of you on your high horse. Of course O should try to get Shea if he is able to transfer. Starting Shea with three years of expierence in the SEC is much better than starting Brennan or Lowell with no expierence.

That doesn't mean that every player is involved. How much liability would LSU have even if Patterson did do something shady at Ole Miss? If they give them the same penalty as Penn St, then I believe the players were free to transfer without losing eligibility.
