Those first 8 games of the season must have been complete misery for you and your ilk.

Misery listening to all the BS by the JL guys when we are undefeated. I have stated many times I like JL playing while the JJ bashers get their panties in a bunch when he plays. Get over it yall aren;t the coach and if anyone is miserable this season it is the crybaby JL guys who look to bitch everytime they feel JL is getting slighted.

I can agree with bold part of post, the rest not so much.
Lee has persevered the "Wizardry" and come out a star, as well as JJ.
Lee is an integral part of 10-0.

Does that say anything about not "pulling" for him?

If you want to see not pulling for someone, how about look at your 5 month long all out assault on JJ.

Wait...is it not possible to pull for a player and also not consider him a "star"?

So what was your problem with Topwater's posts then? He seemed to be saying the exact same thing you just did, but in reverse. He said he pulls for JL, but does not consider him a star.

What was sad about that?

because I have been told by him that having that exact stance means I don't pull for JJ...and that he KNOWS I don't pull for JJ.

That's what's sad, the obvious hypocrisy. But with his intelligence level I guess it should be more expected than sad.

Geaux Tiger you and I have debated here before and I find you reasonable and you do make some very good points.

If I may question in general and maybe I misread your posts or got confused with some of the quoting in this thread it is very long.

I dont believe it is unreasonable for fans to question the choice in qb's especially when the most recent season long performances are so completely different. JJ who took the overwhelming majority of snaps in 2010 had a horrible efficiency rating and I think any objective person would say for the entire season did a poor job of qb'ing.

Lee had a few good games and a few not so good but his playing time was very limited especially when you weigh how poorly JJ played.
This year with Lee starting he has played very well overall though with some hiccups but I dont see how you could look at 2010 JJ or 2011 Lee and rationally argue that it is even close. Sure the offense has changed and the O/C but the biggest difference is at qb. Yet in 2010 when JJ was playing his worst he was never benched and that was a 7 game stretch. Lee had one poor game and was benched so does that strike you as logical or consistent? As for disagreeing with coaches a prime example was 2000 when Rohan was injured in the Florida and was kept on the bench well after he was healthy and missed several games completely until the 2nd half of the Peach Bowl. Many people I know were screaming for Saban to put Rohan back in especially during the Arky game when Booty threw 14 straight incompletions. Were we wrong to question Saban is that not allowed?

As for booing on Senior day I have never and will never boo an LSU player. However in LSU history there have been fan favorites and players who were not as loved and received less louder cheering. I think JJ's performance last year and his statements last year and this year "I played well" "I put the team on my back" "Overall my performance has been fine" when it is obvious those statements arent based in reality combine to make him much less likeable. The same way he is allowed to make those statements the fans are allowed to express their opinion on that player. I hope he will not be booed but I do expect his greeting to be much less enthusiastic by the fans. Over the years I have seen senior special team players greeted more warmly than some senior starters. Mainly due to their "likeableness" and the way they were viewed by the fans, this is no different.

The tone of your post prove how you are.

The fact you avoided this board after JJ played most of the bama game also speaks volumes.

So what happened to you last week? Why did you avoid this board? Admit it you were butthurt b/c JL had a bad game and JJ had to come in for him.

There is so much crap wrapped up in this post, I hardly know where to start.

Do you not see Lee turn and bail out after every throw?
Do you not agree that Lee puts the ball where it needs to be when he has a clean pocket?
Do you not think Jefferson looks much better back there than he has at any point in his career prior to this year?

Just trying to get a sense of which parts you think are crap.

I would say if you say Lee bailed out on every throw you would be incorrect. Also Peyton Manning says he practices not stepping into his throws because about 75% of the time in a game he cant. This was in response to Vern I believe asking him about a throw Lee made during the Tenn game.

Lee definitely is money when the pocket is clean.

JJ looks about the same to me still holds on to the ball and waits till receiver is open and you all know about the inability to go through his progressions havent seen that change.

I have no idea. Both of them have given their all trying to win for LSU and they both had to endure Gary Crowton.

Neither JJ nor JL is a star. C'mon people. We have 2 average, yet capable QBs, who play on the best team in the universe. For some reason, the coaches picked JJ as the starter going into this season, and I can see and understand the reasons why. This does not make me a JLee hater or a JJ fan boy. I support both guys equally. But if you ask me to pick one, I'm picking JJ right now. It's about feeling less fearful of a disasterous play when JJ is out there, which is kind of crazy because I know the weaknesses he's shown in the past. But Lee's fragile psyche and fadeway passing style scare me more against the good teams.

It's very difficult to use previous years when evaluating the QBs for this year. The offense is completely different. The real problem the past couple years was Gary Crowton. Bottom line.

That is what I like about you Rudy. You are are consistantly wrong.
Here's the deal.

Sit down

Take a deep breath

Ready now?

QB rankings aren't worth a shite.

Hold on before you start crying again.

The only thing that matters is if the TEAM is winning or losing.

Individual sttats are for poor ignorant sports dweebs.

It doesn't matter if a particular position is the best or worst, as long as the TEAM wins.

You do under stand the concept of TEAM don't you?

Wins Rudy. That's what counts and if you were ever a winner at anything you would know that.

And a couple of other things.
Les Miles knows more football than you do
Les Miles knows more football than you will ever know
Les Miles is better at his job than you are at yours
Les Miles is better at his job than you will ever be at yours.

But please keep giving us those long reports about things that don't amount to a hill of shite. We love reading about the Nicholls or McNeese or whatever game.
We love reading useless information that prove nothing.
