Should a 4th year qb be handled with cuffs?

I just hope you guys don't boo JJ on senior day... but it wouldn't surprise me.

They may not boo but there certainly will be a huge difference in applause with he and JL. It will be another poor display by our fans.

Obviously. So then the only thing you can evaluate are mechanics and appearance. JL has always and still does bail out after every throw. Almost like he's scared to be hit. Fortunately, this hadn't posed much of a problem throughout the season, until Bama.
JJ, by contrast, stands tall, finishes his throws and can run when it all breaks down. He just looks better back there than he ever has. JL looks about like he always has. When he has a clean pocket, JL can put the ball where it needs to be. No doubt about it. But in big games against the best teams, the pocket is not always clean. Give me JJ
There is so much crap wrapped up in this post, I hardly know where to start.

So in the past different players have been applauded louder. Did you think it was wrong then? Or just because it's JJ.

It is appropriate for a star player(Glen Dorsey) to get a great ovation and a no namer to receive the standard golf clap. JL is not a star and IMO gets way too much praise for staying at LSU. Our fans act like he is the only backup QB to not get his shot. JJ has put up with just as much crap in his career but from the fans. I think both should get the same applause.

First couple of lines, and I knew he had no clue what he was talking about. Mechanics?

double wow.
So JL wrongfully receives praise...that JJ should get?
you're pathetic.

JL was not in a bar fight. JL doesn't say things like "I put the team on my back" or "I don't need to apologize to my teammates.". Or after a poor performance he owned up to it and didn't say that he thought he played good after a piss poor performance. This is why he will get a louder ovation and I think it's appropriate that a team player gets a louder ovation.

You have left little doubt what you think about JL. Those first 8 games of the season must have been complete misery for you and your ilk. Just don't clap for him-I promise I will make up for it.

SO does this mean you won't clap for JJ?
Because if it does you are acting the same way that you accuse Jefferson supporters of.
Don't be a hypocrite.

Lee does deserve some credit for hanging in there last year, particularly during the first 6-7 games of the year when the QB play was just horrible.

Please quote where I said that. I plan on clapping for all of the seniors. How about you, great promoter of our new starting QB?

Roger some people will turn anything into what they want to hear. I pull for JL but I also think JJ has been abused wrongfully so. Miles kept sending him back out there as the starter the last 2 years...what was JJ to do quit? He gets shite for his maneurisms on the field and to me that is just wanting to hate the guy. I love the fact JL stayed but our fanbase has turned him into a hero for doing so when there are probably 30-40 other guys who could have transferred for the same reason and didn't.
Neither QB is great. Both have stayed at LSU and endured their fair share of BS. Both should receive great ovations on senior day. How is that being favorable to either one?
