JJ obviously does not have the mental capabilities to be a good passer

You don't know this.

quote:

he cant check down and make quick decisions

He clearly checked out of a run against Auburn when he threw the long TD to RR as he saw the safety cheat up.

quote:

JJ couldnt even pass well against West. Kentucky

JJ was 6-10 for 150 yards and a TD in the first half, not including the pass which all Lee fanboys would have called a drop by Shepard that would have netted another 50+ yards and an additional completion.

Look...you wanna say you just don't like the way LSU LOOKS with JJ under center, fine. But that's a stylistic deal, and not an opinion based on production. THIS YEAR JJ had been productive when he's come in.

every single time you people post shite like this it shows your biasness the other way.

I dont give a frick which qb you'd trather have in the football game.

Me personally, Id rather have JL.
I have zero problems saying it.

Why dont some of you just come out and say the same thing instead of hiding behind the "LM knows best" and we are all about the "team" and "all it matters in that we win" bullshite.
Its easy to say all that when the coach does what you'd rather see him do.
At least be man enough to admit it how you really feel.

IMO, to get away from what we've done offensively for the first 8 games is fricking stupid.
I dont see how anyone with a brain could disagree.
Maybe we arent.. we will see in a couple days I suppose.

I'm glad the bash Lee thread from last night is still going.

Wouldn't want the JJ fanbois to have nothing to do.

Lee led the team to a 10-0 record. Most rational people saw him throwin off his back foot and avoiding contact, cuz that is lee's history this didn't just start overnight. Knew eventually it would catch up with him. But when he has a clean pocket and throws with confidence he looks pretty good. But football is a contact sport and them boys from Bama were guerrilas.

This is as spot on as anything I've read about the LSU QB situation.

Look who is back. You sure did disappear after the bama game. Kind of shows your true colors.

I just wish people would admit who they would rather see under center instead of acting like whatevr LM says is fine with them... when reality its not.

Obv none of us have any say whatsoever on this matter.
Just be truthful.

Hell you said it a couple times you ithink JJ is better than JL.
I disagree, but its you opinion and you are entitled to it.
At least you are honest about it.

If you have to worry about a 5th year senior's "confidence" and "psyche," you have more problems than you thought. The game should have slowed down for him 3 years ago. He should not still be turning his back to avoid a hit, thus releasing the ball in any direction. He should be owning the pocket. Where does all this "confidence" talk come from?

Agreed completely.

I hate when it's said about either kid. If they don't have confidence by now, why would you want them playing QB anyhow?

Because. I. Don't. fricking. Care.

While it's true I have agreed with Miles' handling of the QB issue over the past three years for the most part, if it had gone any other way I would not have cared one bit. How do I know this? Because there have been other times where Miles and staff have played a player over another that I thought gave LSU the better chance of succeeding...and I've never once bitched out it. Why? Because to do so would make me a whiny count like you guys, and I'd rather not show my arse like that.

I had no issues with it. What about game #9?

quote:

I dont see how anyone with a brain could disagree.

I don't see how anyone with a brain would disagree that having two capable QB's instead of one is better. After all...there were idiots here that suggested that they wanted JJ no where NEAR the team anymore, regardless of what he did...they say this past summer's off the field issue as a way to get rid of him. For those folks, they'd have rathered lose against BAMa than to admit that JJ was needed then. Must suck to be them...

Isn't JL now second all-time at LSU for most completions without an interception? Two of those Ints were against the #1 ranked passing defense. So who gives a rat's arse?

Do you realize that only 1 of the Top 100 pass/eff QBs in the NCAA has less than 3 Ints?

In about 3 or 4 more games it going to be a moot issue.

frick man...I had some douche behind me Saturday actually declare he'd have preferred LSU LOSE against BAMA with JL under center than to have won with JJ there! You in that group?

I still refuse to belive their are fans out there who think/feel this way.

Yeah, sound like fabricated bullshite. I have no doubt there are people who want the other QB to fail, but no one wants LSU to lose.

Until I hear it with my own two ears Ill continue to say that.

There wasn't a little part of you that wanted JJ to fall flat on his face so your champion could be back at the helm and redeem himself?

No...I'm an LSU fanboy.

I don't pull for individual players over fellow LSU players. I don;t care about the fairness of their playing time, as I'm not their mother, girlfriend ,agent or 12 years old. I pull for the name on the side of the helmet, not the one on the back of their jersey.

LSU is 10-0 for the first time since 1958 and there are grown arse men discussing the FAIRNESS of playing time! Holy fricking balls...

To be fair, the system and some good fortune have heavily contributed to this. When you only throw about 10 passes per game, mathematics tells me you will throw fewer INTs.

Some people still have memories of Lee 2008, some people still remember JJ for most of 2010. You will never convince those folks to look at what has happened this year with both.
