What? He actually rebounded well when he played and looked aggressive, but he barely played due to injuries.

Agreed.

Seems like a good kid but I don't expect much from him on the court though

Do NOT be shocked if he emerges as the "4" on next year's team and gives them some rim protection and a double-figure scorer.

Shareef is a very hard worker and a talented kid. He's due for a healthy season. If he gets it he's going to break out.

I agree completely. He averaged 4.5 rebounds in like 15 min per game. He could easily be another Chris Johnson. He will help our rebounding significantly next season.

LA Times did a big story on his heart surgery a couple years ago: LINK .

The way people talked about him I expected it but the kid went after boards and at least tried on defense.

Get fricked with this shite.

When he left UCLA for LSU he commented saying that he would always have a piece of his heart in LA with the Bruins.

He meant it literally.

Needs to spend all day:
1) at the 3pt line in each corner (get dad to pay 2 ball boys to rebound/feed)
2) in the weight room
3) in the chow line
Repeat 6 days a week, over and over and over and over....

Love to see it. We'll definitely have some length in the post this year. Glad to see he's getting healthy. Now somebody tell him to work on his outside shot too, so he can pick and pop when needed and not be a liability at the free throw line like his pops.
