“Reed had less yards”
Reed 2001- 1,979 yards
Chase 2019- 1,780 yards
Chase also played 1 more game than Reed
Reed- 152.2 ypg 2001
Chase- 127.1 ypg 2019

I honestly think JJ had the best career of all of them outside of Reed.
Honestly it’s hard to pick anyone over Reed. Everyone knew he was getting the ball and he still got open.
The others had NFL talent WRs along side of them to take some of the pressure off. Chase had a great year but he had two high NFL draft picks playing with him and the heisman trophy winner throwing to him.

18.3 YPC vs 21.2 YPC
It’s not close.
Chase shared touches with Jefferson and Marshall
Reed shared targets with a true freshmen Clayton.
21.1 YPC is insane for someone with that many catches. And not to mention almost 1 in 4 receptions were TDS.

So Marquez Valdez-Scantling is the best WR in the NFL?

Reed played in an era where 1900 yards receiving in the SEC was insane. Now it’s honestly going to likely come close every year

Maybe if he has 84 catches.
Did he have 84?
Did he have close to 84 catches?
No he didn’t.

Lmao so now you’re not only hand picking the stats but you’re hand picking the qualifying catches it takes. He caught enough balls to qualify for the league lead in YPC so you can keep moving the goalpost if you want but the truth is your argument holds no water.

It was in my first post about it.

His YPC is insane. Guys with 80+ catches don’t have 20+ yards per catches that’s for dude who have 10 catches and 2 of them are long ones against a directional school.
Try and find another WR with that many catches while maintaining a 21 YPC average.
I haven’t Found one going back to 2009.

“I never Moved the goalpost”
Your post
“Reed had less yards”
I pointed out that was incorrect so you went straight to the YPC nonsense. The very definition of goalpost moving.

No one could touch Chase at his best

Chase - 24 games - 2093 yards Reed - 23 games - 2893 yards One quit on his team and had almost 1000 yards less. This isn’t a debate. Josh reed and then chase.
Sort me okay devil advocate here. If Reed would have had Jefferson and Marshall, would his numbers be more or less than Chase?
