I know it’s a little late on a Friday, and the game is tomorrow, but if you don’t have anything to at 1pm tomorrow you should head to the PMAC. For all the complaints of how horrible some of the kids who come through our programs can be, we have someone that has done it just as well as anyone else who’s put on the Purple and Gold. Skylar Mays has been the gold standard for what you want in a student athlete and tomorrow will be his last time to play in our presence. For all he’s been through he’s never complained or wavered. You can have complaints about the team, but tomorrow should be a day to celebrate his career. It’s also another opportunity to show support for the Sims family, which the actions of Tiger Nation during that tragedy was one of its finest moments.

I hope too see y’all in the PMAC tomorrow.

As usual I’ll be there. Skylar is one of my favorite players, to watch him develop and improve all the while crushing it in class is very admirable. Hope to see a better than average crowd.

I started a thread yesterday to encourage (no implored!) people to go early to tomorrow’s game. Show your support, respect & appreciation for our seniors, in particular Skylar.
Plus, the posthumous recognition for Wayde Sims, who would also be a senior, had he not been so tragically murdered.
Presentation is set for 12:45pm, please be in your seats by then.
