What about Hilliard? He still a couple weeks away?

If not more, he’s not ready & if they’ve given any details I’ve missed them

I was only counting one this game. I forgot about the no throw. So he's 0-7, not 0-6. So subtract the amount of no throws from 7,not 6.

True freshman starting for the first time in less than ideal weather.

You people are miserable.

One thing that always drives me crazy is he always waits until there are 2 or 3 runners on base to make a pitching change when someone starts to struggle. I realize he uses and will continue to use these midweek games as practices, but he puts so many pitchers in horrible spots. With Henry's pitch count where it was, someone should have been ready to go after the double.

It’s not just practice time. It’s intentionally leaving guys in pressure situations to see if they can get out of it and intentionally bringing guys in in pressure situations to see how they handle it.

He needs to know how these freshman are going to react in the big moments and now is the time to find out

So he’s 0-2 with both throws right on the money. The first guy ran on a perfect pitch, not sure what Henry threw today.

From what I heard through secondary sources, he was good for mild action, but I guess not.

It’s gonna be a bullpen game. Probably good for us anyways.

I just don't understand the need to stretch Henry to 80 pitches so early in the season when he pitched last weekend.

He pitched to two batters this weekend. That’s less than a bullpen session. 80 pitches isn’t stretching him
