Great to see LSU honoring probably the greatest player in program history this January. I watched her play from the time she was at Capitol HS, through her professional career. She is one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Hopefully, they'll honor Fowles in the next couple of seasons.........

No natty for LSU during that time and no natty with Shaq/CJ has to be one of the most disappointing aspects of LSU athletics

Iconic players

So you are willing to admit she could have started for the LSU men's team?

Seimone has been a great ambassador for LSU athletics. She has won on a local, state, national, and international level and earned multiple gold medals for her country. She has repesented the university with class and this honor is well deserved.

She was certainly fun to watch. Congrats to a great athlete and ambassador for LSU.

Well deserved. She was one of those handful of WBB players there are in any given year who could have play on the mens team if she wanted to.

I wish LSU fans wouldn't see it like that.

We had some great players and teams.

NCAA Tournament Basketball is an unforgiving MFer where one mistake can end your season.

The Lady Tiger Basketball team making 5 straight Final 4s is as impressive as anything I've ever seen in sports.

Be proud of that.

Wholeheartedly agree. And what else is always overlooked is that they won 3 SEC championships during that time. Something they had NEVER done before. Two of those seasons they were undefeated in the SEC.

Why do we have so many basketball men and now women statues and only one for football and one coach for baseball?

And is one of the reasons LSU didn't win the natty. Her Baylor team that beat LSU in that final 4 was not nearly as talented as the LSU team. Had LSU got by Baylor..no doubt they win that natty. But Kim had Baylor well prepared and they were well coached. No doubt had Mulkey been coaching LSU then we would have won a few of those final fours with that talent--Augustus, Fowles, and Johnson. Mulkey is just an amazing coach!!!
