A lot of people have said they won't make it but isn't it a 12 team tournament? If so as long as they aren't last in the west they should be in right?

It's bottom 2 overall don't make it, regardless of division. The only thing that divisions do is guarantee that winners are the 1 and 2 seeds.

It goes by the bottom 2, which LSU is very much in the thick of.

Alabama will be one team that does NOT make the SEC Ty. Tennessee or Mizzou may be the other team that doesn't make it. And Mizzou's RPI is #30 today!

The "bad" teams in the SEC are better than normal in 2018.

Yea I reread the post either way not trolling or looking to argue just wanted to make sure I was right on the sec tournament chances. Anything can happen in a tournament. Make a deep run with this years field and things look alittle brighter.

Those teams ahead of LSU in the standings in the West have the following schedules left:
LSU has a better record than 6 teams in the conference as it stands today. With the remaining schedule, they should make the SEC tournament at a mid level seed.
It all lies infornt of them and they control their destiny as to how high.
