SEC Officials

Preface... last night's loss was not on officiating.
I watched almost all the championship games on tv yesterday. In my opinion, if this is the best the SEC has to offer as officials for a championship game, it is understandable why SEC officiating is the most inept of all conference officiating that I saw. Last night's crew was the worst in regard to fairly calling a game and application of the rules. While the SEC may have the best teams in the country it has the worst officiating in the country!

It is hands down the worst meaning the most corrupt.

Most fans seem to be tolerant with the level of manipulation of calls by SEC officiating. Because of that, nothing will change.

I think the term is “numb” to the ineptness.

It looked like the officials were taking a “let them play” attitude. This resulted in a lot of stuff not getting called which resulted in some of the calls seeming unfair in light of non-calls. The no call attitude gives a team like Georgia the advantage and a well coached team a disadvantage.

The targeting call was most blatant
ETA: overtuning the call

The ref in the booth on TV said it was targeting and did so pretty quickly. But these guys look at it and somehow say it's not targeting even after the refs on the field called it too. I think they didn't want that UGA player sitting out the 1st half of the playoff. Otherwise, don't know how that wasn't targeting.

And David Smith and his crew are the WORST of the BAD!! And the most biased!! How he continues to get big games is beyond me!
