Solid home slate. Potentially 5 ranked teams at least.

So play Bama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas twice. Tough schedule, but should be exiciting.

On July 28...on paper...that is a pretty tough conf. schedule

The two rotating home-and-home opponents are Kentucky and Tennessee. Both are projected to be Top 25 teams to start the season. Then LSU gets Auburn (possible top 25 team) and Florida (LSU hasn't played well there).

There are rarely "easy" wins on the road in conf. play. This schedule doesn't help. Given the choice, I would have much rather see at least one of Florida or Auburn at home vs. both on the road. But, it is what it is.

(At least until the conf. expands) LSU always plays Alabama, Arkansas and A&M twice per year. However, that is a tough draw to get UK and Tenn. as the rotating 2x teams this season.

The league COULD be as balanced as it has been in a while. But none of us can say that with any certainty because there has been so much roster turnover for everyone

The league will be loaded this year so everybody will have a pretty tough slate.
