Scott Woodward wouldn’t be making a mistake if he bought out McMahon this year

Admit you fricked up and get someone else. This won’t get better. It’s not the results this year, it’s the outlook. He will not recruit here. We’re going back yo the days of getting a bunch of guys from Country Day in Metairie

Take the loss. Recognize and understand what it is.

Coach Mc seems a nice guy, but this is different than baseball.

McMahon is in over his head. It. Won’t. Work. When you think the successful coaches in the league like:

Oats
Musselman
Calipari
Pearl
Barnes

Do you think McMahon can even compete with them? Let alone average guys like Golden and Buzz?

And hire who? Who is taking the lsu job right now when you apparently are only giving people one year to prove themselves.

I hear a guy out of Texas by the name of Beard may be looking for a job… and it might come at a discount!

Dude. Anyone can look at this program and say we should be better than 2 wins. Or a recruiting class outside of the top 50. The last game didn’t have 2,000 people attend. He’s driven it back into the ground in 4 months. The guy is nice, I’ll give him that. But he’s a BORE.

The length of his contract is what's ridiculous. I understand throwing incentives in, but don't handcuff LSU to an 7 year marriage before he has proven he is worthy of that.

ETA: the contract was 7 years, not 8.

This cannot be overstated. We were selling games out and getting tip 15 recruits less than a year ago. Anyone who says the LSU job is bad is an idiot.

that’s a good question, but in the same light, can you recognize how terrible coach Mc has been. Our basketball future is dire. Recognize it or not.

I agree with this but that doesn’t mean I was wrong in my comment. You fire McMahon after one season there is no coach worth a shite taking the LSU job.

It's such a terrible situation. Sunk cost with CMM. That's on Woody with the contract.
