Let’s hope he gets it together by the post season bc he has the talent to dominate. Bring him along through the season and let him get over the freshman wall

Ok Ms. Schmidt. Always good to hear from the players’ moms.

Two posts on first page about the same topic. Nice!

This is such a lame response to someone, especially when nothing the guy said was over the top or objectively wrong.

If Schmidt could come around it would help immensely. Cowan and Evan’s have been insanely good. If Schmidt, Benge, Noot, and maybe Ware can just be good we will go far.

Yep. We don't need any of the ones you listed to be Evans/Cowan good. We just need to be able to depend on them to hold leads, or stop some bleeding when needed. What we have with Cowan and Evans is not sustainable. We need more from other people to win series against the top tier SEC teams.
We have an Omaha line up and defense. We have a middle of the pack SEC starting rotation. Our pen needs to get to middle of the pack as well, besides asking Cowan and Evans to carry 100% of the load.

Wait up you said the pitching was as good as advertised. Now the rotation is middle of the pack? I'm so confused..

It’s not a lame response when the same poster started a thread yesterday proclaiming the exact same thing.

Talent to dominate lol dude. He can't locate a softball right now

99% of baseball is littered with " talented " players that never developed. Pick another sport.

This is your second thread in a week on Schmidt. Either you're family or this is getting weird.
Edit. Two days, not even a week.

He doesn’t need to dominate to fill the role that we need right now. We’re at the point where some of our pitchers won’t be getting opportunities but he’s not one of those guys.

I think the more obvious key is Jacob Mayers, if he can get it over the plate throwing 98-100 with nasty offspeed….watch out

It's Ware for me. Our bullpen needs lefty help. But, moreso, we just need more guys to step up...not just Schmidt or Ware or Meyers or whoever you believe is key. Riding Cowan and Evans is just not sustainable.
