Remind me how well he utilized them in the Bama game.

Tell me how he utilized them when he broke multiple all-time LSU records with them as running backs.

It's hard to give E credit for Guice or Fournette considering they were both all americans the year before Ensminger even coached them.

Well, what about Aranda and his three 1st team all-americans this year?

Does he get credit for the all-americans or some blame for finishing 22nd and 29th in defense?

How does he not get credit for the all americans? He's coached them their entire college career. Still waiting on that grade for Ensminger too

You're gonna get some spiel about how E hasn't had the time to develop his offense and players

Yep. The latest I’ve heard is that it will take four years to get everyone in that they need.

Tiger Ree please be clear for me here, are you for or against Aranda being the defensive coordinator

I want to see if the administration is trying to axe him or support him and you're our inside guy

For $2.5 million dollars? I don't know how many defensive coaches had 3 1st team all-Americans and multiple 1st draft picks and finished lower in stats. Maybe there were some. And this isn't to bash Aranda

Unbelievable that you’re taking this position on Aranda, but continue to give props to O and E regardless of result. Without Aranda this house of cards falls big time and and the Tigers would not be sitting here with 9 wins. Aranda hasn’t been perfect but the D has overwhelmingly outperformed the O this season and doesn’t deserve the deflective criticism.

He gets credit for sure.

Let's say there are 130 companies in the US who produce the same product.

I work for one of the companies running the manufacturing. I am the highest paid manager in the county. I have 11 employees I am responsible for. Three of them are known and proven to be the best at their jobs in the world. The rest all have experience and are pretty damn good in their own right. Some may be the best also - Fulton, Delpit, Lawrence, Fehoko, Alexander, etc.

At fiscal year-end my department only produces at 22% of the other companies. What is my grade? Do I get a raise? Do I deserve a raise? Do I get an "A" grade or an "A+" grade"?

Point out the games in which Aranda underperformed. Also point out your grade on the offense for the season.

With three 1st team all-americans and two top 10 draft picks. Really? The defense outperformed the offense? I can't believe it. Amazing !!!

Well, what if the CEO is a former assembly line worker who used to work for you and he promised to revamp a historically underperforming business unit and decided to hire a middle manger who had worked in that same business unit to revamp it. Now assume that the entire company’s bottom line was pretty much made up of your unit’s contributions and not any of the other units.

People are paid commensurate with their overall value to an organization. That’s where your little analogy falls apart.

Let's see Bama 2016, Bama 2018, UF 2016, UF 2018, ATM 2018. Those are off the too of my head. Funny how when we play a real defense he never seems to get it done.

LSU records (not national) against what defenses? Mizzou??

You make idiotic statements like "imagine what E could do with NFL talent", but when he has it he can't even beat UF or put a point against Bama.

I know there's no point in talking to you so I'll just exit now.

I have a post on one of the first two or three pages of this thread that covers that in detail. Not only the team but the players that made the defense look pedestrian.

29th in defense?

The Les hire Aranda is 29th and the O hire E is 78th.

You have to be nuts to call out Aranda when your boy O's pick is stinking up the place.

Not at all brother. He was the best defensive coordinator in the nation this year by a HUGE margin. The facts back that up by a HUGE margin.

So the Alabama, Florida, and Texas A&M game. So 3 game out of a 12 game season. One of which wouldnt of mattered if we held them a safety we still would have lost because we failed to put any points on the board. How many games did the offense underperformed in?

Still haven't gotten your thoughts on the offense either. I don't even need a paragraph. Just a simple A, B, C, D or F will work for me

Well, it is a well known fact that Aranda has absolutely no talent what-so-ever to work with and is the highest paid coordinator in the nation.

It won't matter. They will just blame the next guy O hires. It can never be the fault of someone who loves LSU in their minds.

Just wait and see how quick they will be to criticize the OC after E, if he isn't an LSU alum or heavily invested in LA.

Again, the correct comparison often is not in respect of other teams, but your own.

But you keep doing you.
