I am guessing that means Florida's side of the bracket will play the opening Friday in Omaha, while LSU's side of the bracket will play the opening Saturday. Just a guess, though.

That would be the logical thing, so there is no guarantee it works out that way.

True, so he'll be on a full week's rest for his start against Tennessee/USM in Omaha, BUT that means we probably can't bring him back in Omaha until the CWS Finals. If we opened on Friday, we could maybe bring him back on short rest the next Thursday in a potential elimination game.

The games are spread out. Saturday they have 8 games to show in 4 different timeslots. They have to play some at the same time.

If multiple friday super regionals get delayed and have to finish Monday and all of the Saturday supers wrap up in 2 games.. otherwise we start CWS on Saturday
