LSU was up 30-10 at the start of the 4th quarter and looked horrible in doing so. Game was a lot closer than the 30-10 score looked like.

We won 2/5 of the games you listed "easily".

UNC, Washington, and TCU were all inferior opponents from a talent perspective, and yet they were all fairly close games in the 4th quarter.

Like I said, chalk it up to basically the whole secondary being true freshman.

UNC was a bit closer than I thought it would be, especially with all the turmoil and suspensions of Tarheel players. UW was a blowout. Not ever close.

Wtf are you talking about. First off, you typed Washington twice. Secondly, we pulled ahead late vs Oregon, almost lost to UNC (one play away), pulled away late against a QB-less TCU...etc. No one shoukd take any opponents likely. Dont be an overly-aggressive, hubris-addled fool.

LOL...ok...but it was still closer than people are making it out to be.

It was 30-10 at halftime and we got in the EZ a little after 12 mins in the fourth, but it was called back on a BS penalty. We got a holding penalty, then JJ was sacked for a big loss, and that put us out of FG range.

Scoring any points there, would have made UNC's comeback, moot.

I fully agree. We should never, and I mean NEVER, take an opponent likely.

What exactly is humorous?

The Washington game in 2009 was an 8 point game with 5 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

The TCU game was a 3 point game with 7 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

We beat UNC by just 6, and needed a defensive stand in the final seconds to avoid losing.

The Oregon game in 2011 and the Washington game in 2012 were blowouts.

So, yes, we only won 2/5 of those games easily.

True but the Washington game was not as close as the score made it seem. LSU dominated nearly all of that game except for a late comeback that made it respectable. UNC was waaaay closer than it should have been and we didn't exactly blow TCU out either.

Those games were never really in question. Cite times and scores, but go back and watch the games.

you're not understanding that us taking it easy, caused them to come back. We need to play 60 mins, and I agree that it got hairy that last drive lol.

Do you not remember that game? We couldn't keep Locker off the field.

Washington had 157 more total yards than us. They won the TOP battle by 13 minutes. They had 8 more first downs.

We most certainly didn't dominate that game.

was horrible that entire game (313 total yards) and thanks to PP7 punt return the score was worse. The game was close and the score looks pretty but it was ugly

The first Udub game, TCU and UNC weren't easy wins.

I guess I don't. I do remember Locker having a good game but I don't recall ever being worried about the outcome except for a brief time near the end.

Tell it to Vegas. LSU has gone from a 4 pt fav to a 5 point dog in two wks. Wisc must be putting their money where their mouths are.

That's 09. A couple years ago we blew UW's doors off. In all fairness, if we're going to throw OOC games into the discussion, you should
include the 2nd game against the Huskies.
