Sam Burns +2 for the tourney at Torrey Pines...

-1 is the cut line. 2 over yesterday and even par today....finished ahead of fellow LSU golfers Kaufman and Loupe. Pretty nice couple of rounds for Sam and some great experience.

Missing the cut isn’t “a nice couple of rounds” but I think Burns has the game to be succesful

What’s awesome for Smiley is that he has already earned $3.5mm in his career. I think his exemption runs out after this season but if can keep his tour card or bounce back and forth between the PGA and Web until 30 he could get out with $10mm. He really needs to win a crap event this year.
