I guess I can get he'd rather be playing this year than sitting a transfer year but this is a bit odd for a 5* recruit, no?

I'm wondering if there is not more to his decision to leave LSU, perhaps a grade issue?

Perhaps he comes back next year once he gets his house in order if that's the case.

I would say dropping down to a JC is a good indicator that his grades needed work.

You don't go juco simply for playing time. That's what fcs is for.

There was a thread earlier talking about issues that may have caused this to happen.

He was my LA professor years ago. What's he got to do w/Saivon?

About half of Conrad's LA class is made up of athletes since it's an easy A.

He did it so he can transfer to any school next year without having his scholarship restricted. It's the same thing Cam Newton and Mett did.

He's likely headed to another SEC program in 2018.

Same thing I was thinking. Folks are so quick to bash with negativity. Why transfer with restrictions to a school like SMU (Quinn) when you have to sit out anyway? It seems like a good idea to go to a JUCO get some game experience and go wherever you want to go the following year.
