2009 could only be seen as mediocre by jerk fans who are clueless about college football
Only a f'kin idiot would see 4 losses as anything but mediocre.

Very sad....the best coach in LSU' history...and most of you rantards want to get rid of him...fricking pitiful...really though it's fricking pitiful

the best coach in lsu history? i would say the luckiest. you're not even close on this one. IF miles goes 8-5 this year, that will be 25-14 in the last 3 years. so you want a coach that's making 4 mill a year to put up this kind of record in 3 years?

I have forgotten more about College football than YOU will ever know.....dukke
what a sad statement from such a sad man.
dukke, you can say these things (1st amendment, etc.), but you are such a negative spirit..

now you're just being silly.
The guy said we should give Miles TEN frickING SEASONS of mediocrity. Come on. With that kind of ridiculous bullshite, there's no reasonable response other than to exaggerate it right back to him. The guy is obviously either an idiot or a Miles plant. He gets responses equal to the silliness of his posts.

I judge them by how they are coached when they get here. So far AFTER SABANS recruits have been gone, it doesn't look THAT impressive.

you mean those same recruits that were coached (when they got here) to a NC? You've done painted yourself in a corner peej.
(i would lay down a BOOM but its not proper rant etiquette to BOOM your own post)

alot of the kids on the '07 team were his recruits...and you can't do it every year. QB and o-line have been an issue the last couple of years but it'll come around.
Don't get so upset. Im sure its not the first time you've been wrong. Here.....
...does this make you feel better?

No peewee, I said nothing of the kind. I said that to judge success OR mediocrity in a college football program 5 or better yet 10 years was a good time range. Dumbasses like you think one or two seasons is enough to judge a program either way. That is simply nonsense.

First of all 9 wins with youth on the offensive line and inexperience at QB does not exactly translate into the "Sky is falling". Second, 2008 (see LSU 2008 below) was the year we were supposed to have a shot a contending for the SEC West again. We know what happened then. By all accounts last year was SUPPOSED to be a down year for LSU considering another inexperienced QB and offensive line alone. If you look at the offensive lines for Alabama, Florida, and LSU.
Florida 2009
LT Matt Patchan SO
LG Carl Johnson JR
C Maurkice Pouncey JR
RG Mike Pouncey JR
RT Marcus Gilbert JR
TE Aaron Hernandez SO
Florida had only one Soph on its offensive line at LT.
Alabama 2009
RT Drew Davis SR
RG Barrett Jones SO
C William Vlachos SO
LG Michael Johnson SR
LT James Carpenter JR
TE Colin Peek SR
Note the left side of the O-line that dominated us in the second half against us and every other opponent they played.
LSU 2009
RT J. Barksdale SO
RG L. Hitt SR
C T. Hebert RSFR
LG J. Dworaczyk SO
LT C. Black SR
TE R. Dickson SR
We had 2 seniors on opposites sides of the o-line working with 2 Sophs & a RSFR. They just were not ready for primetime, yet. Whereas in 2008 we had significant experience everywhere except at RT and QB, but we were successful running the ball.
LSU 2008
RT J. Jones SO
RG L. Hitt JR
C Brett Helms JR
LG H. Johnson SR
LT C. Black JR
TE R. Dickson JR
Florida 2009
LT Matt Patchan SO
LG Carl Johnson JR
C Maurkice Pouncey JR
RG Mike Pouncey JR
RT Marcus Gilbert JR
TE Aaron Hernandez SO
