All one has to do to see the difference between a Saban coached LSU team and a Miles coached LSU team is watch a game. Watch LSU play in any random game from 2000-2004 in the years that Saban "underachieved". You tell me if you don't see a drastic difference in intensity and smarter football than any random game from 2005-2009.

Yea...there was a shitload of intensity against UAB, the blowouts we suffered through, and Iowa.
I will give you guys credit though....ya'lls selective memory ain't no joke....the best ive ever seen.

With one of the best offenses in LSU history, the SEC title, and our first top ten finish in years.

Saban goes 8-5 in 2002
2002 wasn't as bad as people make it. This was the year our defense started playing excellent. Started off 6-1, then things went to shite when Mauck got hurt (yes it was Saban's fault for leaving him in) and James left the team. LSU was still a miracle pass away from making the SEC Championship. Although I do blame Saban for that Arkansas game, not for putting in a prevent defense (cause that was the right call) but for not going for the first down and running the clock out, kicking a FG instead and giving the ball back to Ark.

One loss was to a 14-0 Auburn team and one was to a UGA team that executed perfectly, I don't think Saban cared about Iowa, he shouldn't have coached that game anyway. I also find it funny that you left out the 2003 National Championship year. To say Saban underachieved here is retarded. I'm not a Saban lover, but he changed the whole mindset of this football program and installed a winning attitude. Just because he wasn't perfect doesn't mean shite. The LSU program is a hell of a lot better now thanks to Saban. It's Miles job to maintain that winning attitude. I hope he is able to do it.

The difference between Saban and Miles is that with Saban, you can only bring up a handful of games that the team looked like shite, but a bunch of games that they dominated all 3 phases of the game.

It's always funny to me when someone posts "FACT", like this comment has been written in Encyclopedia Brittanica.
Give me a fricking break. Just post "OPINION" and you'll be correct. That's a FACT. not an OPINION.

kinda like '08 when we started 5-1 after RP had been kicked off.

We were also a "bluegrass miracle" from going 7-6.

bullshite. Actually its rare that any team dominates all 3 phases but i could bring up quite a few that Miles coached.

off the top of my head...and not counting cupcakes...
Ole Miss '05
Miami '05
Arizona '06
Kentucky '06
ND '06
Virginia Tech '07
Ole Miss '07
Georgia Tech '08
Auburn '09
I could throw in Miss. St. in most of these years and Vandy in '05 but i don't know if you consider them a cupcake.....but im sure you'll find a way to diminish these wins somehow.

No I'm fine with Miles (for now). It's Crowton that I think needs to be fired asap before he does more damage.
