I’m not gonna lie, I’m a fan of Saban and the way he runs his life. I hate Bama, but respect what he’s done there in this run.

That said, he had the exact same look yesterday that he did against Clemson last year. The fire seems to be gone.

He has a look of defeat in his eyes.

I think their run is over and his run is over. Bama will not win another title with Saban. They will not win it next year and he’ll retire after the 2020 season.

The players gotta hate it where you can even enjoy winning, the coaching staff is always ready to GTFO, get a year under Saban on the resume and move on. He's just a miserable frick win or lose. After making the playoffs, complaining because you're behind on recruiting. Everybody around him must be tired of his shite.

Been said before. He ain’t. They are still recruiting 5 star talent. They aren’t going away and no one should expect that they will.

His ability to recruit will fall away when they are not winning. He’s not fun to play for (I know guys that played for him), but the winning offsets that fact.

If his recruiting dips at all - from No. 1 to No. 5 - he’ll have great difficulty winning it all.

This team is losing a lot of star power (but so is LSU). However, we get them in BR next year. I think we win the West next year and he calls it a day.

I disagree. The pressure will be on him next year in Baton Rouge. It's only a matter of time before he gets pissed off and goes elsewhere.

He’s lost a total of 3 games the past 3 years. What the hell are you talking about?

He’s losing the big games. The last two teams with a pulse they played beat them.

There are already insider REC members discussing “let’s prep Dabo, for when Saban decides to retire”.

I’m certain that started after the NTG last year.

The man is a few years from being done. You can somewhat compare what he is doing in this conference to what Skip did during his coaching days, and that is to make those who have to play him better. Even Bear Bryant only had a couple of undefeated seasons at Alabama, and that was when he could cheat openly.

Tried to tell people last spring, he's lost some of that fire.

Looks like Meyer did on his last year at Florida
