I don't mind Kannel tbh, I know why people dislike him but it's all good. I'm not a big SEC thumper like most in the conference are.

That's a great gesture, but it seems like kind of an odd time to do it. There's no home game this weekend. Plus, with it being Labor Day weekend, I suspect many students will be away from BR, along with other people getting in their final vacations before the fall. Maybe it was the only time their schedule would allow the trip?

Made a mistake in the OP, the Auction is tomorrow and will have Shaq, Patrick Peterson, Van Pelt, and other guest with BR connections. They'll do the remote during Bama week.
