He seems to be a leader and extremely focused for the bucs... Very very happy for him and his career

I'm really glad he found a spot in the league.

He was a great kid and loves LSU.

I'd love to know of a college player (non-injured, not suspended) who played as little as Shepard did his last two years (20 plays maybe? Fewer?) and then turned it into a legit four year NFL career, moving up to being a team captain.

I guarantee that him not playing at LSU was not his fault.

I think the adversity and the struggle for everything he's earned has shaped him. Work pays off hes an example.

That was one of the worse LSU offenses in the history of the school and also in the country. We had one of the most electrifying players in the country and Les Miles was too scared to use him. Glad Les is gone.

one of my biggest complaints during the miles era on offense was the under utilization of threats like Shepard.... he was the fastest play on the field . but we would only put him in when he GOT the ball and it would be in the shotgun with Jefferson for the read option.

Same thing with Trindon... we bring him in and we give him the ball.... imagine if we had a player like shep going in motion every play... (OR GUICE) ... or trindon.. When the defense doesnt already know whats coming its much easier to score !!!!!

imagine dat ---- see skylar green's success -- because he was in the game majority of the game oh yeah ..and we had saban

I am happy for him. I didn't expect him to be on an NFL team this long. Great job by him.

Germans. The term originated from the John Belushi line in Animal House, where he recalls when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. Somehow it morphed into "old news".
