What ever happened to the running back who was transferring a few weeks ago from the West Coast, I belive....I know we picked up a corner from Stanford, but was there a running back who was transferring that we were interested? Sorry, but I thought I did read that...haven't been on for a while.

We don't need one. We have the mighty Joe Burrow. The Rant has spoken.

Pretty sure you're talking about Tre Watson from Cal.

He committed to Texas a week or two ago.

Lsu didn’t extend a scholarship offer to him because we wanted Burrows

We will be fine with our stable of backs. You can't replace players like Fornette and Guice they don't come along that often. But CEH looks like the real deal, I think he is going to pleasantly surprise a lot of people. And Brossette was really good in high school we need him to prove he was that back. If he can do that LSU will be just fine at the RB position this year.

This. We have gotten spoiled over the last 6 years with Jeremy Hill, Leonard Fournette, and Derrius Guice. We don't have to have an all-SEC back every single season.

The group of CEH, Brossette, Tae Provens, Little Fournette, and Chris Curry will be more than good enough to have a solid running game. We need a big recruit or two for next year's class, but this group is good enough to get through one season.

With Burrow (and Alexander, CB-Stanford) our last two slots are taken up.

Walkons only from here on out.

If we have any transfers go the other way, sill done for the year (season) but could grant a 2yr walkon a schollie.

I think it's reflective of the talent in the state, Louisiana produces some really good RBs and that trend will continue. Travis Etienne from last years recruiting class, John Emery from this years recruiting class.
