There is no such thing. In an RPO, the QB is reading the linebackers. If they bite on the run, the QB pulls the ball & throws a quick slant, if the backers stay in the throwing lanes, the QB hands the ball to the RB.

In a Read option, the QB is reading the backside DE or OLB.. if that player crashes down, the QB should keep the ball & run. If the edge defender plays containment, you hand the ball off.

The QB is reading two completely different things in an RPO vs Read Option
