Off of the run blocking before the linemen can get downfield.

It has nothing to do with option football. Nothing to do with the Quarterback running the football unless it’s a called run with the quarterback.

It simply means the wrs are running routes tagged onto a run play and the Quarterback had the option to pull from the mesh and throw it quickly.

For the 1000000000th time.

A banner may be more fitting so people don't actually have to click on the link.

Or the QB tucking and running that brings an extra dimension than Brennan fool.

QB can be the running back too!

People confuse it with the read option, which is where the QB has the option to hand off or keep himself

But it can be argued that a mobile QB can be more effective running the RPO as well, and that is due to the overall threat of the running game being more effective due to the threat of the QB keeping on the read option. So things come full circle lol

So for two weeks people bitched about Myles getting himself hurt running the ball and now y’all want your qb to run.

Just own up to the fact that for some reason you just don’t like Myles.

I don’t think most fans care about “liking” as in personally, most of us don’t know these dudes. We “like” the players we think give us the best chance to win.

For that matter TF is not a good runner. He is just big. Max showed himself to be the runner on the few plays he was in the game.

I don’t think there’s anyone that doesn’t like Myles

But there is a large group of people who treat him with kid gloves and deflect any valid criticism because he waited his turn

TF is good enough at running, you don’t have to be Lamar Jackson to keep the defense a little off balance. Also TJ can sling it, he’s obviously more of a pocket guy, but a willing and decent enough runner

He’s been one of the best QBs in the SEC through his 3 starts and posters have been licking their chops wanting him replaced the whole season.

Valid criticism is fine. I have seen very little that is valid on this board.

We ran a few Quarterback RPO’s last year with burrow where it was Quarterback draw called and he pulled up at the line and threw the slant to Chase. That’s an RPO because the O line was blocking Quarterback draw. But because it was a draw it allowed chase to run a deeper slant because the timing of the run blocking for draw prevented linemen from being downfield.

Why would people not like Myles? Again we don’t know these people personally. Fans just “like” whoever they think puts LSU in a position to win.

We ran that exactly once last year. And it was at Bama in the 4Q.

We didn’t run that last night.

On exactly 0 of TJ Finley’s RPO’s last night was he a threat to run the ball. The running back was the run threat.

How about those that knew we needed a QB who’s mobility had to be accounted for by the defense?

Brennan will never be the kid we saw run the offense last night. He doesn’t physically have the makeup.

Ensminger can’t and won’t call the plays for a Brennan led offense that are necessary to execute plays that resemble 2019.

Those that can’t see this are about to be enlightened. O already told you on the Monday after the Mizzou game that we were calling plays that Burrow could make, but Brennan couldn’t make them work.

It’s not personal. The 2006 team struggled w JR until the halfway point of the season, b/c he refused to run the ball. He wasn’t a good runner, but ran for close to 100 yards per game the rest of the way, and his feet made him $30 M, b/c the passing lanes soon opened.

The scheme requirdd to account for a QB that can carry the ball w/o fear of injury, and has the arm strength to complete a pass under pressure opens up the entire playbook, and converts third downs, while scoring TDs instead of FGs

Look back at every NC LSU has had and I will show you a QB that kept drives alive with his feet at critical game, winning moments

Mauck, Flynn, and Burrow. Do we win AL or Clemson games last year w/o Burrow’s rushing yards? And that doesn’t even take into account the passing yards we got due to the defense having to defend Burrow’s feet
