According to Orgeron! On the field and classroom. Gonna be an awesome left tackle for us! Very long arms and tall. Cant wait along with rest of the Oline that are getting high remarks for their off season work! Geaux Tigers!

Counting on Rosenthal to shine and take over one of the tackle positions.

Not to knock the kid, but fans should be skeptical of any “news” you hear on specific kids coming off this tour. Remember that they’re basically on a press tour to promote LSU football.
You’re never going to hear an interview on late nite TV where the star says anything other than glowing praise about how much fun the movie was to make, about how awesome the supporting cast was, and how you HAVE to go see this movie.

And anyone w a brain knows our offensive line is very likely to be what makes or breaks getting in the playoffs.

I’d rather him be impassable or dominate or something else describing his ability to block than explosive.

I just said yesterday I was wondering how he was progressing. I do agree to an extent with the previous poster who said it's that time of the season when we see coaches throwing praise out very generously. "Gonna be an awesome left tackle for us!" with no reference to "when" is probably the big caveat.

"Explosive in the classroom" sounds like golden habenero.

If Dare gets up to speed and can win LT by mid-season and Charles can move to RT we will be in a position to beat any team next year. Talent and measurables are there. Just needs experience. His development is the most important thing this off season.
Fingers crossed.
Fingers crossed.

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron chats with West Monroe head coach Jerry Arledge at the TAF Coaches Caravan at Walk-Ons in West Monroe
The men and women in purple and gold were happy to reciprocate a “Geaux Tigers!” on their end.
Coming off of LSU’s first 10-win season since 2013, you could say the cheers for Orgeron and his staff felt earned Tuesday night.
And though LSU’s offense returns eight starters, Orgeron has been vocal about getting LSU’s pass protection issues resolved this summer. That’s why a majority of LSU fans have their microscopes hovering over the tackle positions, as LSU was tied with Texas A&M for most sacks allowed in 2018. One player who could push for playing time is former Ferriday two-way stud Dare Rosenthal. Rosenthal made the switch from defensive line to offensive tackle late in the season
“I think he’s doing a tremendous job,” Orgeron said. “Dare is one of our most explosive players. He’s very powerful. He’s worked very hard on the field and in the classroom. I think he’s going to be a great left tackle at LSU.”

Why do so many grown men not know the difference between "dominate" and "dominant"?

This is misleading. 2015 was a 10-win season except that our home game against McNeese got cancelled.

But they also don't normally talk about some random supporting actor that had a small part. They talk about the stars.
