Wouldn’t that be our worst nightmare? I mean it’s like trying to win 3/4 against crappy in state schools. We would stand no chance. I’d rather just take our lumps by not getting in and get our hitters in the cage with our former player coaches to work on bunting in high leverage situations.

If my prediction of not beating mediocre teams in the regional comes true, I would like an apology

I think going on the road would help these guys not to mention they could win depending on how stacked the regional is.

Why? You want to waste another evening watching the “best” our state has to offer fail at fundamentals like bunting and stepping on a base?

I truly believe no one wants to see LSU in their regional

Playing meaningful postseason baseball whether we win or lose will help this developing team much more than sitting in a batting cage. Let’s make some noise but no matter what we do let’s get some wins and experience.

I don't care if they go 2 and BBQ against Louisiana College and BRCC. Getting in is always better than not getting in. If you're worried about practice time, which it appears you are, if they lose they'll have 8+ months until their next game. One more weekend won't change a thing. I don't think I need to get into the "big game experience" argument because that speaks for itself.

I think they hope they pull that easy win. We are like the Southeastern of our own regionals of the past. Oh wait Southeastern beat us this year. I mean we are like Tulane...oh wait...ULL...never mind

Do you people even sarcasm? The batting cage comments was a clear swipe at crappy coaching and worse bunting. Not a call for batting practice.

I’d like to see LSU in a regional, regardless of how it finishes. I don’t want next year to be the first time Hilliard pitches in a regional, especially if LSU is better next year. Get the contributing freshmen that experience.

Also, it’s better to be in a regional than not to be in one. I don’t know why you would want LSU’s season to end sooner than necessary. It’s not like LSU would be getting invited to the NIT. This is an NCAA competition and that should be a goal for every team on LSU’s campus in every sport every year.

Just like so many of our own "fan base."

This season is really one of those where "support your team or STFU" really applies. "Fans" who don't want to see their own team have success in an otherwise "down" year, I mean they're only, what? 34-24? Ten games above five hundred? So terrible....yes I KNOW all the reasons, but damn, that's still admirable. And here, our fans want to lose or sound like they'd rather quit.

Without TV commentary you would have no idea Slaughter slipped on third base. You are a parrot of what you think you know.
