Watching SNF and Ricky stated his high school when going through the defense and not LSU. Not that I’m going to lose sleep over it, but thought that was weird

It’s no big deal. I even saw Dak Prescott do the exact same thing one night last year. In his case, his high school coach had just passed away or something so he was honoring him.
They do it for different reasons and it’s rarely ever a dig at their college.

Lots of players do this...Bennie Logan does the same thing because he comes from a very small school and town that gets no attention but yet still sports LSU gear at times. It's not a dis to LSU more of a home is where the heart is type of deal.
