Sucks but I can’t say that I blame him. Good luck Ja’Marr.

Also he ain’t no Josh Reed

Sucks because another year similar to last could’ve put him probably above Reed. But not anymore

the only way he isn’t a top 10 pick is if he gets hurt

Unless other guys who are playing show out and move ahead of him. It happens a lot.

Yep all he has to do is look at joe burrow and see recency bias matters. Assuming this season gets played there’s gonna be a lot more fresher performances+ now character teammate concerns. I guess he weighed those and still thought it was in his best interests but we will see

IF he had come back and put up half the numbers with Miles that he did with Joe( a once in a lifetime player) it would have solidified his position as the best option in next years draft.

He has nothing to gain by playing but everything to lose

So does Devonte Smith, Trevor Lawrence, Travis etienne and the list goes on.

This is inexcusable to do as far as timing in the regard after the comments he and his dad made about him playing.

O is losing his locker room and LSU as a whole is a clusterfrick of bad publicly which sucks coming off our greatest season.

Justin Fields won't even play year 3 if they think they are locked in first rounders.

Arent Justin and his family wanting the Big 10 to play?

I guess Stingley has been getting the best of him in practice lately and he can’t take it anymore??

You know I used to be against colleges paying players but now that they're opting to sit out the year I say pay them. Pay them, make it optional to go to class, and put them through the meat grinder at 18 years old. Give them no guarantee of an education, healthcare, or housing if they don't produce on the field because there is always someone in the transfer portal (free agency) to replace you.

Timing is atrocious but good luck to Chase. He was awesome to watch last year.

Orgeron is finding out that staying on the top may be harder than reaching it.

Looks like the Ryan Clark rumors are true

What rumors are those?

May not be the last... O and staff are currently dealing with a shite storm situation. The responsible individuals have been dealt with accordingly, but the damage done still remains. Just hope this stays limited to Chase.

There are COVID concerns and the season is still not a given, injury possibility, his numbers are very likely to regress, any number of things!!! He made a decision that affects the rest of his life and I respect that! Like Coach says, next man up...and we have the horses at WR to move on!! Good luck Ja’Marr, a tiger forever!! ??????

Yes, you will start seeing more top 10 players opting out of the season. It use to hurt the draft stock now it helps them

Yah he a pussy,he knows he can't compete in the sec with a slight less talented QB than burrow was. He doesn't want his production on the field to go down. I told y'all in the beginning of season he is scared to compete, I'm never wrong you bet on that
