Seriously, Bo is about to have a slobber knocking defense cuz our offense is going to be 1/4 of what it was last season.
Trust in Bo. Enjoy the big hits. It’s the perfect D to get through this season.

Truth be told look at Delpit situation his draft stock went down tremendously compared to where he was after his sophomore season... It’s a changing of times and as much as we hate to see players leave it’s the nature of the business... But plenty will forgo their junior season and turn pro... You can sign with an agent and get sponsorship deals... To a 20 year old with nothing more to prove that’s a lot to turn down..

Will be interesting to see if this has a ripple effect.
I was thinking the same thing

So one of the sauces OTB is saying more opt outs coming. He didn’t specifically say LSU. However it was in a reply to a thread LSU related. Zero other detail provided. Hopefully it’s someone like Kardell that we already knew about.
Take it with a grain of salt. I wished these guys were wrong about Chase but they weren’t.

Same thing I was thinking but I had to get some confirmation on it.

The other opt out might be Jacoby Stevens. Don’t hold me to that. It’s not confirmed from staff...yet

At this point, I really couldn’t care less if there’s a season this year or not. Between Covid, BLM, politics, players opting out, and minimal fans allowed at games, it just doesn’t affect me. As a sports junky, If I had made that statement 6 months ago, I would wonder if someone drugged me. The BS with sports has taken away from any kind of enjoyment I’m used to having.

Yeah. Honestly with the way our country is going. I’d be ecstatic if we have the luxury to care about sports after November.

OTB thread just got deleted so that was probably truthful

If both are opting out then frick them. How could you not expect a fan base to turn on you?
Myles must suck big time. Idk what else could be the score?!

Na bro it’s just what I heard. And I put a disclaimer behind it.

Where did those guys post that? They post on here??
Posted on 8/30/20 at 10:22 pm to Doby
All I have to say if Ja’Marr did opt out because Myles looked suspect, think about this Joe came on campus in August and beat out Myles after he’d been in the offense for 2 years already... I understand Joe is a different breed but c’mon you can’t teach “IT”

Sorry to hear this.

That would be news to me. Not saying it can't happen, but he's not one I've heard up to this point.

VolTiger, you better be f’ing right on this one.

It’s semantics I guess but he is getting value by being at LSU getting an education etc.
He could blow a knee out training for the Combine and get drafted late because of it and never get healthy enough to amount to anything. I hate to be doom and gloom but his future is not guaranteed.
Then, he’ll need to turn to the LSU education / degree. Who would’ve thought a few years ago that Guice would be exactly in this position. Regardless if for different reasons, the point is there are no guarantees
