I hope they can keep his receivers in place. They need to keep Higgins, Chase, Mixon, Perine and others on this team. Otherwise, he may get stuck like Aaron Rodgers, who I think rotted away with zero help in GB. Outside of the pocket Rodgers was the most accurate QB on the move I’ve ever seen with a devastating arm. Yet, he rotted away.

Joe may want to take less cash to keep his guys intact.

I still don't trust the Bengals to keep Joe protected and a good team around him.

He deserves every bit of that. That franchise has been hot garbage for a long, long time, and he has them one of the more feared teams in the nfl.

There are a number of players (Hurst the TE pops into mind) that should make sure they never lose Joes Home address. Joe from this point forward deserves a Christmas card every year for how much money he is helping them make.

They need to let Joe be the first QB to get a % of the salary cap. Would make it so much easier on the team to know they always have 80% left of the salary cap to work with. And Joe gets to know he is worth 20% of the available money.

Its a win for both parties. And the NFL absolutely hates it. So Cincinnati should absolutely do it.

Burrow should get at least what they are getting.

I don’t see how they manage to keep both Chase and Higgins. Both are #1s on most other teams. Most important thing will be keeping the OL solid to protect Burrow.

Gotta keep some of the better guys on the defensive side too. Wilson, Hendrickson, Hubbard, Bell, etc. are all going to command attention when their contracts come up.

They’d be ok letting Eli Apple go at least.

Think about how much money the Bengals have made since Burrow has got there and that tells you how much that dude is worth. They either never had a road playoff win or zero before he got there and now they have 3-4.
