That whole cannon thing was bizarre and classless. They got what was coming to them, though. It worked in the reverse.

They deserve plenty of horns down. It’s not like it’s racist or anti alphabet or something. It’s all part of the game day experience. And I hope get they piss balloons.

I don't think it was classless or anything...just kinda lame. I mean I understand they can't actually fire a cannonball, but hittin an opponents jersey with a puff of smoke is kinda weak

Call it classless but what was stupid was Herbsteit being critical of Joe during the broadcast when Joe did the queen wave taunting Texas but didn’t say shite when they shot the cannon through the jersey. You damn well Joe either saw it or was told it happened and was just returning the favor.

Those were some sad assed UT fans walking out of the stadium, dumbstruck. On the shuttle bus back there was absolute silence except for our non stop giggling.
