Arkansas is going to have to win the tournament to host.

That's what happens when your Rpi is close to 50

Are the brackets in Omaha still set up the same way, 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7, etc? I just want northern or western team for our super, so they can come down here and melt in this summer heat.

Gonna be pissed if my Wolfpack get paired up with a super in Corvallis, Eugene, or Fullerton over Louisville, Nashville, or even BR.

Mississippi State probably clinched a host last night. If they didn't, a win over South Carolina will do it.
I agree that Louisville ends up a national seed. 16 straight wins, RPI of 13, and a perfect matchup with Indiana in the Super Regional.
Everyone knows this, but its worth pointing out - only 1-8 are seeded. There are no 9-16 seeds. The Super Regional match ups are normally regional, which is why I think LSU will get Kansas State (which Arkansas will win that regional)
Mississippi State will be matched up with Florida State, and South Carolina will get UNC, Clemson or Virginia in a Super Regional. Cal State Fullerton and UCLA are a perfect match, and like I said, Louisville and Indiana. They will have to have at least one cross country. ACC/Oregon school Super.
The state of Texas hosted three regionals last year and four in 2011. They really only have one lock to make the tournament this year (Rice). Houston will probably get in, and A&M needs a couple more wins.
