After losing Sopsher last week...got to thinking...in last 10 years, is Fournette the only player Bama & LSU wanted BAD that LSU got?

There are an assload of players that LSU has that Bama would have loved to have. If a player was locked in with LSU from early, and didn't really play the Bama recruiting games, does that mean Bama didn't really want them?

I mean this as an honest question because I'm genuinely curious. What makes people think of Bama in the off season? I don't ever think of them until their the next game on the schedule or when someone mentions it on the board. It's obvious that a lot of people do so I'm no way trying to say you're the crazy one here.

That's fine and dandy but all those guys are from Louisiana. Yes, we still get the lion's share of the Louisiana talent that we both want. But how many top Alabama (high school) prospects does LSU get over (U of) Alabama ? I think it's fair to say we are not trading blows.

Bama also had Dare Rosenthal committed and he flipped to LSU after attending one of our camps. BOL was very unhappy about it.

I’m sure Alabama wants most of our elite recruits BAD but it does feel like awhile where a player was 50/50 on signing day and chose LSU over BAMA.
I do believe it’ll happen soon though. LSU is trending in the right direction regardless of what haters say.
