Not a fan of this new transfer rule at all! Players shouldn't be stuck, but this is getting ridiculous! Any type of adversity and I'm out. Many players became great after sticking it out and battling through things!

He is doing whats best for him AND LSU.

We needed some guys to leave. he was gonna be the 5th RB. Assuming Curry would beat him out.

This young man was probably NEVER going to see meaningful playing time at LSU, but you want him to stay and waste his eligibility?

He was buried on the depth chart. He's also pretty talented. He can go somewhere and showcase those talents and maybe get to the next level or he can sit 5 deep. He's handling his business.

He’s behind Edwards-Helaire, Curry, Fournette, Emery, and Davis on the depth chart and he knows it. Best of luck elsewhere.

No surprise here. Seemed like a threat, wish we could have used him somehow but he needs to do what's best for him and seek playing time.

Yep times have definitely changed, but he will still have to sit out a year if he plays at a D1 so really the only major difference is he can now be officially contacted by other schools to determine interest. It actually benefits both parties with a slight edge to the player but not too one sided!

Sorry to see him go, because I thought he had real upside. Best of luck to him.

I definitely think he has potential to be a starter at another P5 school.

These guys dont all love LSU. They come here for many positive reasons, but the love PLAYING football. Dude like him can go many places and get serious time, or maybe even start for 3 years. Hes got ithers in front and the #1 guy nationally coming in....why the frick should he stay?

Many people said it but some didn't want to believe but dear god, that 2018 class is turning into an utter failure with the exception of the top top guys (Marshall, Chase, Joseph, Hines)

i made a thread about it

people lost their shite

i almost bumped it today but it's whatever. people who cheered and defended that class and who said it was underrated will talk about how we don't need these guys today.

Can’t say I didn’t see this coming. Good luck to him! Probably a solid move for his career to be honest considering depth.

They are the same ones who say that stars don't matter but they are also the same ones who lost their shite that we finished with a top 5 class

Lot of attrition for so early in that class' history but plenty of opportunity left for it to actually play out into a really strong class.

Marshall, Chase, Hines, Baskerville, Joseph and Lewis seem to already be on a path of contributors or starters currently and down the line. Rosenthal and Wire have a shot to solidify the tackle positions. Cherry is highly thought of as is Clark at LB. Jones, Curry and the 2 Jenkins have a lot to prove but are still around. Cole Smith should be Cush's replacement. Traore and Moore better step up this year or they're busts.
When you look at 247 rankings that year we've lost 4 of our 5 lowest ranked kids from that class. That's normal not alarming. Borderline kids, some with upside, that figure out quick that they aren't up to task. We needed kids to leave and they're leaving. I wish a few of the older kids that aren't gonna be contributors would go but there are worse options we could be losing. I'll wait a couple more years before passing judgement on this class. There's potential there.
