“You don’t know how much it meant to the team when we came out after halftime and the stadium was still full”.

If that doesn’t send a message to the fans then nothing will.

Student section did their job. It was the rest of the stadium, who sold their tickets to Georgia fans, that fricked up.

Maybe this is a technique the fans should apply in future games .

He should have thanked the Georgia fans for keeping the east side full. That’s usually the first part of the stadium to leave.

Stop trying to think. Had nothing to do with a ton of Georgia fans. It was all due to the game.

I get it, but hell... September day games are rough. It was still pretty hot Saturday, but the humidity was way down.

Hot for you in the stands? Imagine what its like for these players busting their arse for you to go around pounding your chest after a win. They deserve unwavering support.

We'll find out how much the weather impacts second half attendance this weekend. If you can't stay for a night game against a team that destroyed us last year, you're not going to stay.

Wasn't it 80-82 degrees? That is hardly "pretty hot".

So I heard a rumor that LSU bars wave the cover charge if students get there early enough. This is one of the main reasons students leave early. Can anyone verify?

Non-students leaving early just suck as fans.

That is absolutely pathetic that an LSU player would have to say that

He's just being nice. The stadium was not even close to full, and I suspect it might never be full again. It's just clearly overbuilt. I think the "natural, steady state, core" attendance number is probably around 82K. It is what it is. It was still a great atmosphere.
