Well tua wasnt tua when they played LSU. Lawrence will be the best that we face

Tua's ankle didn't hinder his game at all. He was still launching passes 50 yards. He was scrambling fine when he fumbled, he just froze when he saw he was about to get hit by 2 Tigers. Maybe not having practice reps lead to that, maybe not. His passes were on point all night though and he isn't truly a dual threat guy. He's mobile and extends plays but doesn't scramble often. Bama fans saying LSU played Tua on half a leg lost their argument when he threw for 400 yards and 4 tds dropping dimes.

The ball slipped out bc his brain was busy thinking about that leg he shouldn’t have been running on and forgot he had a ball in his hand

So Tua can’t run and think at the same time? No wonder he is always hurt. If he can’t walk and chew gum at the same time then maybe QB isn’t the position for him.

Trevor would be second only to Tua and he might be better. Without question both are better than anyone else we’ve played.

TL is a very good QB who will likely be the first off the board in his draft year. Make no mistake, he will make plays and Clemson will score on our defense. He ain’t Fromm or Jalen

You can be a LSU fan and admit that tua wasn’t himself. See I just did and many others have too. it’s not that hard to give credit to the opponent and recognize that they weren’t at their best.

Is Trevor the best we have faced?

If you're honest, you would say YES! TL is definitely the best QB LSU has faced in 2 years!!!

He beat Bama last year and outperformed Tua with accuracy and decision making!

Lawrence isn't injured all the time, and runs the ball effectively as part of the game plan! Tua gets hurt too often when he's hit! It seems he gets up "gingerly" in every tough game!

Tua's arm is elite with strength, accuracy and touch (he throws the best deep ball I've ever seen). TL isn't far enough behind in this category to really say Tua is better. Lawrence's biggest problem is he seems to often just throw the ball up for grabs because he thinks his giant and gifted WRs will bail him out. However, this doesn't mean he can't throw with accuracy and touch like he did against Bama in the championship, but likely more a result of Clemson playing a crap schedule without elite DBs that keeps QBs sharp (also why I think Joe will continue his dominance!).

If Tua was durable and wasn't always injured, he would likely be the best, but that's part of football, and maybe his biggest problem. Unfortunately I fear he won't survive the NFL long because of his lack of durability and already dealing with major injuries and surgeries.

1. Trevor
2. Tua (#1 if healthy)
3. Ehlinger
4. K. Trask

Trask stats against us were:
23-39, 310 YDS, 3 TD, 1 INT

Nah. I was going off the fumble on the first drive where he looked like you out there running and he fumbled bc he was favouring his leg.

He was favoring his leg so his hands quit working?

You don't make throws on target all night and then say that you weren't at your best. His interception wasn't due to poor passing, it was because he didn't read the field well. Other than that he was launching balls on target from the first drive until the final touchdown with a minute and change left. It's possible that you're buying into the hype of him not being at his best and not realizing that he threw for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. Lol what do you think he could have done better? He avoided pressure like he always does and threw the ball away several times during the game.

The QB’s this year is really impressive.
Tua and soon to be Lawrence.
Hurts
Ehlinger
Fromm
Trask is better than expected and a really good QB.
Jordan Love has 1st round talent but had a down year.
Plumlee hurt us with his legs but can’t throw the ball. Still the fastest white kid in history.
Nix will probably be really good but this year not so much.

yes. Him favoring his leg also played a big role in his hip injury. Without the leg he Likely doesn’t fumble or hurt his hip.

Have you seen Tua run prior to this year's LSU game? He was scrambling at the same pace when he fumbled and broke his hip as he always has. He slowed his scramble against LSU because there were two Tigers blocking his path to the endzone. Saban even mentioned after the game that his prior injuries played no role in his hip injury. It didn't. He was rushed and sacked while trying to avoid the pressure and landed awkwardly.

I have watched Trevor play and I don't think he is as much a threat as the media hypes him. I may be wrong but I think Aranda contains him
