Guy averaged 24.5 ppg last season at Southern Utah (I know, but still 24 ppg is 24 ppg) and also average almost 7 boards a game. Tonight he slashed 7/4/4 on 3/4, 1/1 shooting in 20 minutes.

Do you guys think CWW should start giving time to this guy over Edwards for a little bit to see what he can do? I think he’s got the ability to pour in the points at least while B. Samp is on the IR.

He looks like an outstanding athlete. He’s very stout he’s got quickness and acceleration, his shot looks to be effortless and smooth just seems a little gun shy. With Sampson out we need any competent scorer we have to be as aggressive as possible. Tonight we had Mays who’s not a true scorer trying to force shots outside of his comfort zone and we saw what kindve trouble that can get us into. Guys like Onwusaor, Rachel and of course Waters will have to increase their attempts. I bring up these guys specifically because they can create their own and don’t necessarily have to get shots within the construct of the offense or transition. Guys like Mays, Edwards and Epps can’t be forcing shots and playing outside their limits offensively.

Yeah, I just don’t see him having come here without having the chance/ability to 100% contribute all over the court.

Maybe he’s settling in and trying to find his role but we need another scorer. He had a very high usage rate last season so he’s fine with the ball in his hands, maybe just needs the green light from coach Wade or time to figure it out.

Didn’t pay attention to his defense. Was it ok? Is he a “stopper” on D?

He looked lost when she covered Gibbs and left him wide open to shoot 2 or 3 of his 38 3 pointers.

He certainly wasn't the only one. Our team defense was pretty bad last night.

Who didn’t leave Ferrell or Gibbs open on the perimeter? CWW needs to try some type of 3-2 or some perimeter zone or we’re going to get slaughtered and give up the most 3’s in NCAA history
